Join Us for the Next IDC

September 12, 2012

For our next IDC for the I Don’t Care Project, we invite you to come along and do the challenge with us! No, we’re not going to go to the store in our pajamas or give lunch to a homeless person, though you could do those things as well. We’re simply going to answer the common question, “How are you?” in a specific way.

Starting today, for the next 7 days, when asked, “How are you?” we’re going to respond by saying, “Great!”

But, what if you don’t feel great? That’s OK. Read this recent post by Claudia and see if you don’t change your mind. Or, try a little perspective on for size. The fact of the matter is, we all have many things to be grateful for. How about we focus on those for the next 7 days?

Will you join us?

What to do:

1. Enter name and email below.

2. When asked the common question, “How are you?” respond with “Great!”

3. Count the number of times you respond this way in the seven days (keep a piece of scrap paper in your pocket or purse to run the tally).

This IDC challenge runs from 9/12 to 9/19.

I’ll have to make sure that Steve sees this challenge.  He started his travel PT gig on Monday and isn’t feeling so great about being employed again.  He hides it well with his patience, but any added support like this is good.
