Claudia, want to do it again, Donna. She said the ride was for too short!

Never been in a buggy pulled by a horse. I’m glad James the driver didn’t try to cross the highway!  Sounded like NASCAR out there!  Amish country sounds nice.  I’m sure there are tons of wise business lessons to be lessons to be learned from them.

hahaha yea the camera really picked up the sound of the cars whizzing by. No we rode on the side of the road and cars had to pass us.

      yes, they are wonderful entrepreneurs!!!

It’s amazing to me that having lived in Amish country PA most of my life I never experienced all it had to offer until I was older and moved to OH and visited our Amish community. I guess being in my early 20’s and having it within reach wasn’t appealing at the time. Going on a buggy ride certainly wasn’t on my bucket list.

I’ve come to appreciate all the culture has to offer since moving her; much older and wiser may be the key -:)  Going on a buggy ride has been one of those special treats. The back country roads in the region are beautiful and a buggy ride certainly captures the essence of the area and it’s culture. We head to Amish country whenever we get a chance.  Although no longer right around the corner from home as in my youth, it’s worth the hour drive to get there now.

I know! Sometimes we don’t take advantage of what is right in front of us!
It is beautiful indeed Cindy! Peaceful and slow. The clip-clop of the horse is relaxing and you can only go so fast. I loved it.
