How We’re Refocusing rise365

August 6, 2012

Well, here it is! We’ve been talking about this for a little while now and we finally got things tightened up and in place.

Yup, that’s us!

We originally created rise365 as a source of accountability as we pursued massive change in our own lives. We knew the direction we wanted to go with the site and had a lot of ideas, but couldn’t see the specifics standing at the starting line. We had to figure that out along the way.

And, we did. Or, I should say, “We are…?”

Our New Mission Statement

The mission of rise365 is to help people escape normal, regain their fizz, and recreate the way they make a living.

This is mostly what we’ve been writing about already, however now it’s more clarified so you’ll know exactly what you get when you stop by or sign up for email updates.

To read more about what this mission statement means and, more specifically, what’s in it for you, click here.

Fresh New Features:

An updated About page
To reflect this new focus and to help new visitors coming to the site, we completely reworked our about page.

A Resources page
There have been many people and resources that have been invaluable to us along the way. We wanted to share them with you because we think they can help you too. To checkout the resources page, click here.

A new tagline
Escape normal. Regain your fizz. Recreate the way you make a living. This encompasses where our hearts are with rise365. We think it’s pretty sweet, you?!

We super excited about what this clarification and refocusing means for rise365 as a whole! Let us know what you think!

Question: Have you taking the time to refocus one of your projects recently?

It’s awesome to get clarity on where we’re going and refocus. Keep at it Michael and Claudia!

Looked at your resources page and had to laugh. It seems we listen to almost exactly the same podcasts.

Nice, Joe. Those podcasts are some of the ones I keep coming back to. I’m glad you’re enjoying them as well.

This sounds amazing!  I will be checking out all the links and looking forward to what you will share down the line!  I am still in the “thinking” phase but I want to shake things up for 2013 – my husband and I met on the 13th and that number has always had a lot of meaning for us – so that’s my goal!  I know your posts will help me stay accountable and inspire me as they always do!
