The I Don’t Care Project = 1 “Uncomfortable Situation” Every Week
We’ve realized how much what we do, say, and the decisions we make are influenced by what others may think.
The I Don’t Care Project is our way of counteracting that. We intentionally put ourselves in“uncomfortable situations” in hopes of overcoming this fear. These “uncomfortable situations” may include things like doing something other than what is normal and expected or voicing our opinions and beliefs more often.

I just love the IDC project – I have some things that I’ve “thought” about for a long time, but never do them out of fear. Why? I think it’s just time to DO IT. Maybe I should start with a Cold Shower? You guys do that yet?
Hey thanks, Michael! I know exactly what you’re talking about. I know for me, the fear of what others may think is huge, so this good for me. 🙂
I did take a cold shower not long ago. Here’s the post: http://wholeheartedhuman.com/2012/01/31/taking-an-ice-cold-shower-idc-10/
Hey Michael,
What things are you thinking of… maybe we could join you!
Claudia,
Good for you for getting out of your comfort zone.
Live Beyond Awesome!
Jen
p.s. You have the prettiest skin! It looks as soft as my kids’ skin!
Jen,
You say such kind words 🙂 thank you!
I Don’t Care! This is really awesome stuff…. Claudia way to get in there and do it!
About your project, outside of our comfort zones are where all the opportunities lie anyway. So why not just say I don’t care, and go for it anyway… You will feel revived, you will be glad you did it, in some cases embarrassed, but who cares… The point is you conquered! You get to wear the T-Shirt… It’s people like you that can stretch like this, are the ones who will make waves. Awesome project!
Oh boy,
Rob, every time I read your comments I feel two inches taller!
ohhh I like how you said, “outside of our comfort zones are where all the opportunities lie anyway…” good stuff. Now I can’t help myself… I’ve drank the cool aid and there’s no goin back 🙂
