“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of other’s opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.”- Steve Jobs
Question: Did you follow your heart and intuition today?
I’m really happy to say I did! I planned a certain type of day for myself and I’ve had several people want me to do something else – but I know I need this time – and I stuck to my guns. It feels great.
“Approve”
That’s awesome, Ann. We can’t serve on an empty tank.
This may sound silly, but most of my day is planned by a 6 yr old! I really have a hard time saying No, when it comes to spending time playing with her and doing things with her, yet at some point I have to take time to myself. That way we both benefit.
Michael, I bet you’re the best Dad ever! I know you love CK and want nothing but the best for her. It seems like you have a real soft place in your heart for heart her and I’m sure this makes you a super fun Dad. Blessings to you and your family!
That’s awesome! I love that quote… I would say yes, and sometimes one would think I might trust my intuition a little too much… I think Steve is right, our heart and intuition already seem to know a lot more than we give credit.
Yeah, love that quote too, Rob. I think I’ve ignored my intuition, well, discounted it, for too long.
