Question: What was one change that brought life for you?
Thank you so much for posting this quote and question. Yesterday was my last day full time in a position ive had for four and a half years. I loved working there and yet I have so much peace and happiness now that Im on to something new. I feel as though something really great is about to happen and I cant wait to see what it is.
Sophia,
Congrats on the big change! That’s so great to hear that you’re being proactive and following through with your dreams of doing something different.
What’s next for you?
I can say marriage and having a daughter, but those are obvious! A couple years ago, my manager volunteered me to step into a role where I would be more in front of the customer and helping the employees than behind the scenes. I was pretty nervous about it, but it turned out to be more exciting than I thought. I realized I like working with people in a more direct way and their personal issues to work out solutions to bring balance to their home and work life.
Wow, that’s great, MIchael, that you were able to have this insight at work. Sounds like you responded to an involuntary change well. Way to go.
Wow – great question – but way too many answers! Marriage and having my children were the biggest changes that brought life for me and continue to as they grow and change. A recent change that I believe is bringing life is that I quit my job on Thursday. I won’t go into details and I would like to find something clerical part time either local or remotely but I plan to take the next week and think about how I want to grow my business.
Wow, Ann. You quit you’re job?! That’s big news. I’m guessing that’s a good thing. I pray this time a planning what’s next will be a time of clarification and discernment.
What a cute little guy! I hope that we can see you guys again soon!
Thanks, Ryan! Same here. I guess it’s our turn to come to you guys this time.
Sounds good to me! Let us know when!
