Michael and Claudia – running on empty from lack of sleep is tough for any reason. But when you have a little one it’s even more challenging because there isn’t any reprieve especially when they are sick. I hope Jude feels better and Mom will get some much needed sleep…soon and very soon!
The latter part of my week has been wonderful. Because of someone’s kindness, I was blessed with the expected surprise of a ride back to my hometown in south central PA to visit my Mom. She is in a nursing home with Alzheimer’s. We’ve had a great time together with the opportunity to create some very special memories, and I’m thankful for this gift.
Momma said there’d be days like this!!! What struck me was that even though you two are frazzled from the week’s
events – you still took the time to post this video. Commitment to your
plans. That is great. Times like this will cement your convictions
more and more and reveal who you are to the Core.
My week has been good overall. Despite my wife’s nagging health issues, we all managed to drive over to a TACA (Talking About Curing Autism) event and meet some nice people and learned about a promising pro-biotic to give our daughter to supplement her diet. They even gave us a free, full bottle to boot.
Love your perseverance through all the health issues, Michael. Keep it up!

I do hope Jude is MUCH better and Claudia can get some much needed rest. I well remember days spent with a sick child and when they are so small, you are sleep and rest challenged in general because they require so much of your time and attention – it just makes it that much more difficult. Claudia you are entitled to be in a bad mood! I’ve actually had people tell me otherwise – but I can tell you – we are all human and if that’s how you feel – that’s fine!
This past week was better than the one before – and I expect things to continue to improve – with my job anyway. I’m believing for a much better week for all of us!
My week was pretty mellow other than the launch of what will be a successful series of interviews with influential leaders. Then the weekend hit and the awesomeness started.
Got to have a great lunch with a friend. My wife and I got to see kites flying at night. Then today we spent the afternoon in a city 15 miles south of us.
We got to watch the last day of the kite show, bought my wife a new kite to fly, walked along the beautiful beach, met up with some friends, and got to break bread with them.
Now we’re enjoying a nice storm rolling in off of the lake.
I love that you’re doing these interviews and I think the formats is great. Do you email a list of questions to the interviewee, or how do you set it up?
It was a total blast. Now we just need to find time to go fly our new kites and boomerangs.
For the interviews, I send an intro email asking if they would have the time and be willing to do an email interview between 7 and 10 questions. If they decline, I thank them (I may start to ask if they would be willing to do it in the future when things calm down and when would be a better time to request an interview). If they accept, I create the questions and shoot them over.
It’s been a blast so far. Now I’m just trying to find the next person to interview. Any suggestions?
Some great suggestions Michael. I’m trying to get in touch with Dan. Will definitely try Dave with his EntreLeadership book being a must-have. Hadn’t thought about the two Chris’ but they would be a great fit. Adding them to the list!
Well, those days come don’t they, but I’m so sorry to hear you’re on E Claudia, and also to hear that Jude has been sick… I really hope you are are doing much better today. I’ll be sending prayers your way…
I know you asked, but I really don’t want to boast… I did have a great week… Speak it Forward event was phenomenal, and I’m on a high right now, both spiritually and ambitiously…
So here’s what I’m going to do…. Because I can’t just keep all this too myself; I’m packing some of this contagious feeling in a spiritual envelope and mailing it to you right now… When you read this comment, inspiration will fuel you completely, it will overflow, and you’ll be ready to take on the world!
Rest well, and prayers for your Jude… You always have hope to look forward to.
In reference to the Fever and Poop post, I think it’s great that you can still have a smile on your face, Claudia! I hope that Jude’s all better now! And Michael, I’m pretty good at sporting that farmer’s tan myself sometimes.

Cindy,
I think it’s great how you took initiative with that new friendship and were truly blessed by it. Way to put yourself out there.
I’m happy to report Jude is feeling much better now and back to his regular happy self!

Thanks, Ann. I too believe this week will be even better than last. Jude is now feeling much better and back to his normal, happy self!
And, I agree. Claudia is allowed to be in a bad mood sometimes! ๐
I’m so glad Jude is back to his smiling, happy adorable self!

If only the weekend could last a bit longer….
Joe,
Sounds like a lovely evening!

That’s great, Joe! How about Michael Hyatt in the wake of his new book?
Tried to get him. With the book launch, he’s too busy. I’ll try him again later in the year.
What about Chris Guillebeau (may be too busy right now as well), Dan Miller, or Dave Ramsey? Or, Chris LoCurto?
Some great suggestions Michael. I’m trying to get in touch with Dan. Will definitely try Dave with his EntreLeadership book being a must-have. Hadn’t thought about the two Chris’ but they would be a great fit. Adding them to the list!

Thanks, Rob! Jude is feeling much better. Like a different boy now that he’s feeling better.
SIP sounds like it was an incredible event. Got to get down there sometime and meet all you Atlanta folk sometime!
By the way, thanks for your spiritual enveloped, Rob! We were truly encouraged by your remarks.
Glad to hear he’s feeling better! And yes, get down to Atlanta when you can, or perhaps we’ll meet up at a conference somewhere soon! ๐
