It’s a little crazy – life, that is.
It’s a little bit wild – this ride.
It’s a little bit hard – at times.
It’s a little bit spectacular too.
Today I held my son while he screamed and I held my son while he laughed.
The ups and downs are… well, what are they?
When it’s bad, I want good.
When it’s good, I want better.
When it’s better, I’m afraid it is going to be bad.
You may know how I like to try new things. My current experiment is to put away (at least out of reach) all of our dishes except for two plates, bowls, cups, and sets of utensils. This will leave one each for Michael and me (I also included a small glass for taking my cod liver oil. Enough said).
The plan is to only use those dishes and wash them immediately afterwards.
I made my trellis today! It turned out really well.
It’s a little crooked, but hey, who isn’t?
I seriously love making things! I get such joy from creating!

The springtime is my favorite time of the year. I love the new growth, the vibrant colors, the longer days, and the warmer weather. Everything comes to life and it’s invigorating!
Just like the seasons of the year, life has seasons. The spring is a time to plan for the future and plant the seeds of tomorrow. It’s doing the things now that are going to pay off down the road.
I used to manage a horse farm. In fact, that is what I went to college for. They were always my passion. As a small girl growing up in Lancaster, PA, I dreamed a runaway horse and buggy would drive by and I would be the one to stop it and be able to keep the horse.
I don’t know where I thought the owner would be, but those small details don’t matter when you are dreaming.
I now work on teeth. I am an orthodontist assistant.
When I tell people this, they give me a funny look. People wonder how I went from horses to teeth.

Today I went on thesaurus.com and searched “ninjas”. The computer told me “ninjas cannot be found.” Well played, ninjas, well played.
In another 2 weeks, 2012 is going to be a quarter of the way past. This means that you should be a quarter of the way towards accomplishing your goals.
I encourage you to take some time and pull your goals for 2012 out and see how you’re doing. Hopefully your goals are specific enough that you can quickly see whether or not you are on track.
Now’s the time to make some adjustments if you see you’re not going to make it to your destination on time.
